  • Question:
    How will emergency personnel gain access to my home?
    Answer:
    Should we have to contact medical personnel, we will also contact any friends / neighbors / family members on your contact list that have a key to meet the medical responders and open your door.

    If you are concerned about your contact people not being there in time, we recommend ordering a LifeStation Lock Box. The LifeStation Care Specialist will provide the lock box key door combination to the responding medical personnel allowing them to gain access to your home without doing damage.

  • Question:
    What if I lose power?
    Answer:
    Your LifeStation system has a backup battery that maintains the system when there is a power outage. This battery is designed to last up to 32 hours in emergency conditions. Once power has been restored, the battery will self-charge.
  • Question:
    How long will it take to receive my LifeStation system?
    Answer:
    Simply place your order online or call us. We will rush your LifeStation medical alert system to you using expedited shipping services by UPS at no cost to you. All orders placed prior to 3PM EST will be shipped the same day and based on your location you will receive it in 1 - 5 business days. Overnight service is available at a nominal cost.
  • Question:
    How can I change the information that I originally gave LifeStation (ie. phone numbers, responder list, etc)?
    Answer:
    Simply call customer service toll-free at 877-833-2020 and give us your new information so that we can update your account.
  • Question:
    What if I'm not absolutely happy with LifeStation?
    Answer:
    If you're not happy, we do not want you to keep it. LifeStation allows you to cancel service at any time without penalty with 30 days notice.
  • Question:
    What are your Customer Service hours?
    Answer:
    You can contact us at any time at 877-833-2020 for customer service questions. We are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • Question:
    Can my LifeStation medical alert system be moved if I move?
    Answer:
    Of course! Simply call customer service at 877-833-2020 and let us know what your new address and phone number will be. We will send a new agreement immediately to make the appropriate changes.
  • Question:
    How do I return my LifeStation when I no longer require it?
    Answer:
    Save the box that LifeStation came in when we shipped it to you. Then call us at 877-833-2020 to cancel your account. We will arrange for the return shipping at our expense. If you no longer have the box that your unit came in let us know and we will ship one to you at no charge.

  • Question:
    What kind of training do LifeStation Care Specialists receive?
    Answer:
    All LifeStation personnel begin their education process with 160 hours of formal classroom training with mandatory examinations given at the end of each 40 hour segment. This 160 hour period is followed by an additional 80 hours of classroom / practical application training under the guidance of our in-house trainers.

    Following this initial six-week (240 hour) period, our personnel are given performance reviews on a weekly basis for the first 3 months. After this initial training period our personnel receive performance reviews on a regular basis.

    Does the system work anywhere in the United States?
    Answer:
    Yes!
