“I called several other services and overwhelmingly chose LifeStation”

When I first called LifeStation I actually talked to a live person, not a recording. I can't recall his name but he was very nice and helpful explaining everything. I called several other (medical alert systems) services and overwhelmingly chose LifeStation.

After receiving the unit, they were very helpful setting it up. Luckily, we have not had to use it but my mom who is 86 wears it on her wrist all the time.

“The job could not have been done better!!!”

My father fell and suffered a severe gash to his head that was bleeding badly because of the blood thinner he was on. Our instructions were a bit complicated but they were followed completely. The operator ascertained my Dad was conscious and stayed on the line with him until the medics arrived.

My Dad lived in a gated community. The gate was called after 911 and a member of the community came to stay with my Dad. All the while your operator offered words of comfort and reassurance telling him police had been dispatched. The police arrived and the operator remained on the line until the medics got there and the hospital of choice was communicated.

I had left five different ways to reach me and a message was left on four numbers until they reached me on the last number. The operator was informative and clear. The job could not have been done better!!!

Today I accidentally caused the button to be pushed thereby hearing the call “Emergency” three times before I was able to get to the station and clear the call. There was an immediate request about whether or not I was having an emergency…I was so impressed by the rapid response and feel much, much better about living alone. And I loved talking to a real person whenever I needed to make a call during the setup process.

“Without a LifeStation system she would have laid there, for she lives alone...”

We had LifeStation for my mother for over 1 year until April of 2007 we did not need to use. She pressed neck pendant twice in one week, one for a fall. Without a LifeStation system she would have laid there, for she lives alone and I had just spoke with her approx 30 min. before the fall. This definitely is one item that has allowed her to live alone, with her independence.

I'm so grateful she has LifeStation, reassures me that help is a quick response if required.

“Your product is worth its weight in GOLD!”

“Excellent...”

“…a great relief to know it worked even from there.”

My mom, who's in her 80s, had recently driven herself home from an outing and as she was getting out of her car her legs became weak and she went down to the ground. She pressed her LifeStation button on her necklace and a few minutes later help arrived. The carport is several feet away from the house so it was a great relief to know it worked even from there. I am alone. Since I have LifeStation I am no longer afraid. It's worth the money just for that reason alone. I have not had to use it though.

The necklace button was pushed by accident one time and the Care Specialist responded right away. I said I was sorry and he said “Oh don't be. It is OK. But are you alright?”

My LifeStation was a gift from my daughter. I live alone and was having a hard time adjusting to that. I was nervous at night. Now, with the LifeStation it is like having someone else in the house and I have confidence in the service.

I like that you allow us to call family before EMS and that if no family can be reached as a last will call EMS if needed.

I took this service for my Dad who is 95 and lives alone. Everyone I spoke to or tested with was helpful and friendly. Several weeks after the service was installed my Dad had a TIA and was unable to get to the phone. He pushed his alert button and received a call immediately. When he did not answer, EMS was called and he was in the hospital in 10 minutes.
